| Comments: | CCRC-M169 binds to acetylated beta-(1,4)-linked mannans. It is unknown if the antibody is selective for O-2 or O-3 acetylation; both are present in acetylated mannans. Removal of the acetyl groups abolishes antibody binding. CCRC-M169 binds only to tomato glucomannan among the 54 plant polysaccharides tested. |
