Comments: | MAC204 binds to arabinogalactan proteins in both Rhizobium-infected and non-infected tissues. MAC204 also cross-reacts with the exudate gum, gum arabic. The epitope recognized by MAC204 has not been characterized in detail, except that it appears to be carbohydrate in nature (i.e., periodate sensitive). |
